When you need a will

FISA believes that every South African should have a will. If your client dies without a will, the law of intestate succession is applied to the distributable portion of your estate. Reasons why this may not be satisfactory has been well documented. Good practice suggests you should review your will regularly and at least when significant changes occur in life such as marriage, divorce, birth of children, retirement, and so on.
