Pets are part of our everyday lives and part of our families. They provide us with companionship but also with emotional support, reduce our stress levels, sense of loneliness and help us to increase our social activities. With all the good they do us, it is only right then that we ensure they are taken care of.
The sad reality of the world we currently live in, is that not all people, have access or can afford the costs of the veterinary care needed for their beloved animals. This is why it is so important to support the non profit animal clinics out there that try their best to provide veterinary care to all animals in need.
The Mdzananda Animal Clinic is one of these non-profit organisations that provides primary veterinary healthcare services to a fast growing community that previously had no access or help for their beloved animals. Highly respected and supported by the Khayelitsha community, the Mdzananda Animal Clinic was founded in 1996 and the animal hospital services up to 1000 pets per month.
The IIWC will be hosting a virtual Pop-Up Quiz “Pop up for Paws”, on 22 July at 19:30, all the proceeds of which will be going to the very worthy Mdzananda Animal Clinic.
So get get together with 5 of your co-workers or friends and put on your thinking caps for a but of fun while supporting this great cause. See more details below.
