Introducing the IRMSA Executive Committee for 2021/22

The Institute received phenomenal nominations for the vacancies on the Executive Committee (Exco) this year, making it a very difficult decision for members to select only five from the nine candidates.

The nominees were: Mercy Chikwanda, Nicola Comninos, Peter Links, Komane Maphutha, Christelle Marais, Lunga Mkhize, Pat Mlanduli, Fulufhelo Tshikhudo and Vanessa Thurlwell.

Subsequent to the voting at the Eighteenth Annual General Meeting of Members of the Institute held virtually on Wednesday 23 June 2021, Christelle Marais and Fulufhelo Tshikhudo were re-elected and Nicola Comninos, Peter Links and Lunga Mkhize were newly elected. We would like to thank them for being available to serve and congratulate them on being elected to Exco. We look forward to continue working with them.

We are most appreciative of Mercy Chikwanda, Komane Maphutha and Vanessa Thurlwell being willing to be nominated for Exco. We will make sure that they will be invited to join a committee or project that best suits their skills to ensure that they are still able to contribute to the Institute.

We look forward to working with all the nominees and welcoming them to the IRMSA family.  Wishing them much success as the Institute continues to go from strength to strength.
