Leadership in the spotlight
When you search the word “leadership” in google, you instantly receive 351 million results or 27 million pages. Research shows that about 20 000 books have been written on the topic. Now, with 7.5 billion people in the world today and just 195 countries, how is it that we battle to get really brilliant leaders to take us into the future?
Globally, leadership seems to be in trouble, on a political and corporate level. The world seems to be changing faster than we can keep up with and it does not look like leadership is any more able to adapt as needed. In this months Editon we asked a variety of leaders to provide us with their perspective.
In South Africa we can almost say that during the past two months “the earth has moved” and our trajectory has changed, politically and economically.
