Compli-Serve SA, in conjunction with Novation Consulting and UCT Law@work presents…
The Protection of Personal Information Act (PoPIA) with speaker Elizabeth de Stadler
A few weeks ago, we woke up to a doom’s day clock on the Information Regulator’s website counting down from 100 days until POPIA is enforceable (from 1 July 2021). In the meantime, the Information Regulator is issuing media releases and guidance notes left, right and centre.

During the session, Elizabeth will discuss the following topics:
- How to keep calm while the POPIA is striking the fan
- What is new with POPIA? Registering your information officer and WTF is prior authorisation?
- Keep your eye on the ball! What you should focus on before 1 July 2021
- Live after 1 July 2021: Some strategies to embed POPIA principles in your business and manage your risk going forward
