Santam, South Africa’s largest short-term insurer has appointed Nokuthula ‘Thuli’ Manyoha as head of its’ niche business insurance unit, with effect from 1 July 2022.

Manyoha, a Chartered Accountant, completed her training at Deloitte and had progressed to being Senior Audit Manager by the time she left their employ in 2014. She joined MMI Holdings in 2015 and held a number of senior executive roles. She is also a former Finance Director for Old Mutual Insure. 

Quinten Matthew, the Executive Head of Santam’s Specialist Business, welcomed Thuli’s appointment and said that he looked forward to Thuli’s contribution and dynamic thinking which she will bring to the Santam group.

“Thuli is a well-qualified professional with solid financial services and insurance experience. Her joining the Santam team enhances our depth of expertise and ensures that our business continues to be a market leader in delivering insurance that is good and proper,” said Matthew.
