The second annual South African Listed Tracker Funds Awards (SALTA) was held at the Johannesburg Stock Exchange on 22 May 2019 and Satrix was awarded top spot in four categories on the night.

Satrix won awards in the following categories:

SATRIX 40 - THE FAVOURITE ONCE AGAIN

Winning the “The People’s Choice” award for the second year running is a huge honour for Satrix. The public voted via online poll and the Satrix 40 ETF proved to be the favourite ETF among South African investors.

Satrix listed the very first ETF on the JSE in November 2000. The Satrix 40 ETF has been a flagship Satrix fund ever since, offering investors local equity exposure at a low cost.

It remains the largest domestic equity ETF by a considerable margin and is also the ETF with the broadest investor base. It is therefore no surprise that it was recognised by popular vote as the “People’s Choice”, supported with numerous stories of the impact it has had in changing ordinary people’s lives for the better.”
