STANLIB is proud to announce that Victor Mphaphuli, Head of Fixed Income, was awarded Fixed Income Manager of the year at the Association of Black Securities and Investment Professionals (ABSIP) Awards ceremony on Friday evening.
This is Victor’s third ABSIP award, reflecting his extensive contribution to the industry, having managed bonds and income funds for STANLIB since 2008. Co-head of STANLIB’s Fixed Income team since 2016, Victor assumed sole responsibility for the team earlier this year.
The Fixed Income investment team is one of the largest in South Africa with an impressive investment performance track record, managing over R200 billion in assets under management. The STANLIB Income Fund, a core fund in the range of offerings has delivered top quartile results over 1, 3 and 5 years in its ASISA category.
