She was previously at Marsh where she held the position of National Practice Leader (Marine &amp; Aviation).&nbsp; Maullin has excelled in identifying new business targets, formulating growth strategies, creating team awareness and compliance with in-country insurance legislation as well as compliance with compulsory marine cargo insurance requirements across the Africa region.&nbsp; She brings strong leadership and managerial skills to her role.&nbsp; Furthermore, she has forged strong, strategic industry relationships across local and international marine markets.</p><!-- /wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><p>Maullin is a member of the IISA and has completed various advanced insurance and management programmes and training courses over the course of her career.</p><!-- /wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><p><strong>Mike Church</strong> has joined GIB as Head of New Business Development and will work closely with the senior management team.</p><!-- /wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><p>Church was previously at Marsh where he has consulted on large account development for 14 years.&nbsp; He has a wealth of local and international industry knowledge and will strengthen GIB’s new business development and sales capabilities.&nbsp; Prior to joining Marsh he was CEO of Aon SA.</p><!-- /wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><p>“Both Juliet and Mike bring strong industry experience, knowledge and understanding and we are confident they will both contribute from a strategic and business expansion perspective to allow GIB to continue on its current growth trajectory,” says Jurie Erwee, the GIB Group’s CEO</p><!-- /wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><p>Both appointments were effective 01 May 2021.</p><!-- /wp:paragraph -->
