AMP opened its doors in 2001 as a UMA specialising in motor mechanical warranties. Over the years the business has evolved and now offers a full suite of motor related valued added products including the following:

Mechanical warranties;
Maintenance and Service Plans;
Tyre & Rim insurance;
Body maintenance plans.

In 2017, AMP partnered with the Automobile Association of South Africa (AASA), to provide AA branded and backed products to consumers via the motor dealer trade and other consumer facing intermediaries.
