Uncovering fascinating insights around regulation, distribution, innovation, and industry intelligence while strengthening Insurance Relationships.
COVER, in partnership with the IIWC, proudly launched the annual Africa COVERed trip, a unique initiative that brings together a small delegation of insurance professionals to foster connections, collaboration, and growth across the continent.
By engaging with key stakeholders in Sub-Saharan Africa, we aim to share valuable insights, strengthen industry relations, and learn from innovative practices across the region.
Our inaugural 2024 trip to Kenya and Rwanda was a tremendous success, with delegates uncovering key insights into regulation, distribution, innovation, and industry intelligence.
These findings have been captured in a comprehensive white paper, now available for download.
Join us for a feedback webinar where we will share highlights from the first trip, and discover how this initiative is driving collaboration across Africa.

Africa COVERed Annual Research trip
In March 2024, COVER, in collaboration with The Insurance Institute of the Western Cape (IIWC), successfully led an exploratory trip to Kenya and Rwanda. This mission aimed to deepen understanding of the insurance industries, foster relationships, and explore opportunities for collaboration. The trip allowed delegates to gain valuable insights into local innovations and regulatory environments, culminating in the creation of a white paper shared across the insurance sectors in Kenya, Rwanda, and South Africa.
Building on this success, COVER and IIWC are excited to announce the 2025 Africa COVERed trip to Ghana. This annual adventure will bring together a select group of insurance professionals on a journey to engage with key stakeholders, explore the Ghanaian insurance landscape, and contribute to industry growth and innovation.
The trip will feature strategic meetings, immersive experiences, and recreational activities designed to build professional connections and provide a comprehensive understanding of the local market.
Attendees will be required to actively participate in research efforts during the trip, contributing to a detailed white paper that will benefit the broader insurance community. We seek passionate professionals who are committed to making a meaningful impact and are open to experiencing new and diverse environments.
