Barry O'Mahony’s path to becoming one of South Africa’s most trusted financial planners wasn’t a direct one. Winning the prestigious Financial Planner of the Year Award was a watershed moment, but not for the reasons he initially expected. While Barry anticipated the award would raise his public profile, he was pleasantly surprised by the effect it had on his existing clients. Today, Barry’s practice focuses on lifestyle financial planning, helping clients through significant life transitions.
