Building our future through education

Reading and writing is key to the future of this country, but the sad reality is that many children slip through the cracks and get to grade five or six and they do not know how to read and write. That is where RITE comes in.

Renasa sponsors RITE (Renasa Insurance Training and Education) which promotes initiatives to uplift underprivileged communities by contributing to the "Foundation Phase" of education where the groundwork for future learning is set. The programme not only provides much needed books to underprivileged schools but also works at inspiring the teachers, giving them ideas on how to teach the alphabet, how to make it fun and exciting for the children.

We caught up with Bonny Loureiro, GM of RITE, to talk about Renasa's passion for primary education and to find out more about this great initiative.
