During the Grand Summit, major announcements took place

This Black Tie / Gala Event was attended by a number of Corporate Companies nominated by their customers to be part of the awards selection process. </p><!-- /wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:image {"align":"left","id":147799,"sizeSlug":"medium","linkDestination":"none"} --><div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="alignleft size-medium"><img src="https://cover.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/BotswanaInsurance2-300x225.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-147799"/></figure></div><!-- /wp:image --><!-- wp:paragraph --><p>BIC was nominated and selected by the adjudication panel, after a long and scientific process, as the winner of the General Insurance sector. Old Mutual Insure was the 1<sup>st</sup> runner up. The awards were attended by Ricky Harris (CEO of CICM), William Surmon (Chairman of CICM Botswana Counsel) and the CICM member council for Botswana. </p><!-- /wp:paragraph --><!-- wp:paragraph --><p>Other award winners included: First National Bank, Absa Bank, Liberty Life, BTC, Protea Hotels and the University of Botswana to name a few. Brand names attending the function included: Orange, Stanbic, Standard Chartered Bank, Bokomaso Private Hospital, Botswana Life, Botswana Post, Spar Group. Over 140 guests attended the function which was the inaugural CICM Service Excellence Awards for Botswana, with earlier events held in Zimbabwe and South Africa. Botswana Insurance Company is a member of OESAI.</p><!-- /wp:paragraph -->
