The Monster Under the Bed Workshop

In 2009, Jack Welch of the “Jack Welch Management Institute” in Virginia, U.S.A said to his incoming MBA class “Change before you have to”. Such advice is applicable to us in the retirement fund space today. The “Monster Under the Bed” for Trustees, together with their advisors and other industry experts is that unless they set in place systems and practices to address issues before the weight of time and legal compulsion overwhelm us, the funds they operate, and their members will be placed at risk.
