We hereby request speaker proposals for the IRMSA Annual Conference on 10 & 11 October at the Gallagher Convention Centre.

The overall theme of this year's conference is Limitless | the power of integrating strategy, risk and resilience.

The power of risk management will be unleashed. During the past year, we explored and harnessed the huge potential of these key elements and achieved unprecedented growth and success in the face of the challenges that organisations and risk professionals face.

There is no limit to what risk can achieve.

We would like to call on risk professionals to submit their proposals to present to the risk community at this year's hybrid conference.

We would like speaker proposals in the following categories:

• High level risk specialists or professionals      
• Top international speakers
• Unique speakers - a new viewpoint or perspective / something innovative (thought leadership in the strategy, risk and resilience space)

We would also like proposals on recommended topics:

• Artificial Intelligence
• Integrated reporting
• Environmental Social Governance (ESG)
• Climate and the risks we face
• The South African Energy landscape of the future
• Integrating strategy, risk and resilience
• Whistleblowing
• People Risk
• Risk quantification
• Latest on insurance as a risk response strategy
• The South African Political risk landscape 2030
• Scenario building - a practical approach
• Good governance and the role of Risk Management
• Any other topics that will bring value to risk professionals and organisations
  

The IRMSA Events Committee will consider all proposals submitted within the deadline provided, the required topics are in support of the IRMSA Conference 2023 programme.

We may not be able to accommodate all submissions into the programme outline, however we will do our best to ensure that each topic is represented.
