Rand Mutual Assurance (RMA) is proud to announce the launch of its first-ever Mobile Prosthetic Assessment Clinic in the Free State Province, which will take place in March 2025, at RMA’s Welkom Subacute Hospital.

This initiative is a testament to RMA's unwavering commitment to providing life-long medical care to its beneficiaries. The clinic is a key component of RMA's Pensioner Medical Programme (PMP), which aims to provide holistic medical services.

On the day, pensioners who are part of RMA’s PMP, from the Free State, will undergo the first of their bi-annual prosthetic check-ups, facilitated by RMA and its partners. This collaborative effort embodies the PMP's core principles:

Collaborative multidisciplinary care approach: Ensuring that beneficiaries receive comprehensive care through partnerships with medical professionals and service providers.

Holistic and comprehensive service delivery model: Providing beneficiaries with access to a wide range of medical services, including prosthetic care, rehabilitation and chronic disease management.

Commitment to a multistakeholder support framework: Fostering partnerships with various stakeholders to ensure that beneficiaries receive the necessary support and resources.

Open community participation: Encouraging community involvement and participation in advancing RMA's social security mandate.

The launch of the mobile clinic reinforces RMA’s commitment to providing compassionate care, ensuring beneficiaries receive ongoing support. As a key component of the PMP, this initiative reflects RMA’s dedication to delivering medical care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of the PMP Pensioners.
