What happened to the insurtech revolution?

There was recently a big fall in the stock prices for the many of the larger and the more popular insurtechs. It was quite a trend where we saw quite a few of them fall in market value. However, that does not necessarily mean that the concept that they're busy with is incorrect, or that the model is incorrect. It simply means that there was maybe a bit too much hype or just an overreaction.

The question, are we dealing with an insurtech revolution or are we dealing with an evolution?
