IIA was established in 2010 and has expanded its sphere of operation to encompass risks with total sums insured exceeding ZAR250 million and where there is a demonstrable commitment to sound risk management practices commensurate with the inherent exposures.

A disciplined underwriting approach constitutes the cornerstone of our underwriting philosophy and our extensive experience and strong technical skills, combined with our pursuit of quality business, contributes towards contract certainty and the delivery of an efficient and effective insurance product that addresses market needs and maximises stakeholder value.

Our Assets All Risks product provides up to ZAR275 million/US$13,750,000 capacity any one location for Fire and related perils, Machinery Breakdown, Business Interruption, Accidental Damage, Theft, Money and Goods in Transit throughout sub-Saharan Africa and incidentally Worldwide.
