The Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa (FPI) proudly announces a significant milestone in its history: as of 31 December 2024, FPI has surpassed 5,000 CFP^® professionals, reaching a total of 5,001. This achievement reflects the growing recognition of the CFP^® certification as the benchmark for professional financial planning and advice in South Africa.

“This is a momentous occasion for FPI and the financial planning profession in South Africa,” said Lelané Bezuidenhout, CFP^®, CEO of FPI. “For the first time, we have exceeded 5,000 CFP^® professionals, a testament to the increasing demand for qualified financial planners who uphold the highest standards of ethics, competence, and professionalism.”

FPI extends its heartfelt gratitude to its dedicated staff, members, accredited educational providers, approved professional practices, and corporate partners who have played an instrumental role in this achievement.
